Day is done....

Oh wow! Day 3...these pirates are really keeping us jumping...hopping....fishing....cooking...

This morning 5 or 6 of them were up early and Josiah managed to land a 5 lb. Bass down at the pier. Old Salt....Captain Gramps...is thinking maybe he'll have to be skipping the hot tub and heading down to the pier in the future!

The kids shot the b-b guns and bow and arrows again and tomorrow will be the competition for archery, guns, swimming, races, boating and other contests.

They all swam- boated- and fished for about 3 hours this afternoon. Tonight Old Salt took about 4 or 5 of them out fishing...no fish tonight. We are thankful for NO rain! The kids are having a ball swimming, boating, fishing, playing games, playing in the sand, making different crafts...singing crazy songs...(moms and dads will lOVE them!) We practiced skits for stunt night this morning and then they wanted to perform them right away...tonight we performed them all again in preparation for parent's night tomorrow night. Lots of giggling and laughter. Tonight we played "dusk and dark" hide and go seek with the "light up" bracelets. Even Old Salt Captain Gramps and Beauty Gram played and ran with the best of them! We followed that up with root beer floats and a final skit presentation they hadn't seen before.

Tomorrow is our last day...it has been so much fun! God is so good and we are so grateful to HIM to be able to have the kids here this week! Caitlin as been so great as our assistant "leader/camper" Her expertise on "pirates" is amazing!
